How I found my handsome dog
I use to have an old dog...I though she might like to have a friend, so I searched for puppies. How ever I happen to find a website for abandoned dogs in Estonia. There, I saw a picture of this posh dog. I could see that he was posing so much in that picture. I read that he had been found from street, but his story was too sad to be told. It also said that he is a pensioner dog, so I though he would be a nice friend for my old dog and at the same time I could save his life (because the abandoned dog's kennel could not keep him there for ever).
So later I went with my family to Estonia to get this dog, Luis. When I first saw him, the women from the kennel whispered something into his ear, which made him get excited and he ran to me happily, like if he knew exactly why I had come. I'll never forget how scared he was during the trip to Finland from Estonia. In the ship he was nervously running around, but he trusted us, my family. Well, he had to, we were the only thing he had.
For the first months, everyone had to be careful with him, because if you made even one too fast move, he got scared and could bite. The thing that he would be a pensioner dog, wasn't true, he is everything else but that. He is also the most handsome dog I've ever seen and very, very smart. He wasn't the kind of friend to my old dog as I had planed, but they got along well. About two years ago my old dog died...(tell ya about that later...)
Now Luis is living happily with me and my family and he still seems much younger than he really is! We all love him a lot, and he love us too!

Re: How I found my handsome dog
Nice to hear your story Bella16!
It was truly interesting and moving as well.
My sister, Milla, used to have an old dog as well. She also thought that Nalle (the dog was named Nalle) would like to have a friend, so she decided to find out if there were any puppies for sale in Espoo. However, there were no suitable puppies in Espoo so she browsed some web pages and found a great photo of one puppy that was for sale. It was part Pyrenees part Bern (eli osittain Pyreneitten ja osittain Bernin paimenkoira) if I remember correctly. This dog was not found on the street, though.
The dogs seem to like each other and now Tassu (the new dog) is part of my sisters family. At first, when Tassu was a puppy, he was a bit aggressive but after a few months of training he started to behave nicely. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Tassu used to run around nervously and bump into furniture and occasionally brake something
. But now he's really adorable.
I'll post a picture of Tassu in this forum if I happen to find a picture of him.
Cheers,
Lasse
